The Smith Home

We went though all of the Smith's houses the log home, and the Frame Home but Madisyn really liked the frame home. These are the bricks that were used to hide the gold plates as Joseph and Oliver were translating. The missionary pointed out that they all said Joseph had NOT seen an angel, but they ALL believed he had GOLD. Madisyn laughed and said the obvious "How could he have the gold if he didn't see and Angel?"

Even today she will remind me of that. Joseph Smith did have the gold plates and he did translate the Book of Mormon from the plates.
