Memorial Day Campout
The campout this year was a HUGE success. We did the Milley Cyrus HoeDown ThrowDown with Nicole in the baby holder, and the choreography by Madisyn for the talent show, but Max and Jenni took home the trophy for the talent show. We placed third, behind Tristan and Audrey who did a Diet Coke Mento performance with some Groovy music.

Putt Putt Golf and Bumbos
We stayed at a wonderful resort just on the back side of Zion's called Zion Pondarosa Ranch. We had cabins with running water, and tons of FUN. (thanks to Max for doing the planning this year) Rock wall, tennis courts, (to play VolleyPongSocBall) and an AMAZING Swimming Pool. The kids were so excited to Putt Putt, so of course Bompa and Nana took them over to play. They all had tons of fun, but just so you know the wrist bad gets you a nice hand shake that's it... :)

Nicole couldn't do any Putt Putt, but man did she look cute in her Bumbo.

Aidan intently looking at lizards. Jackson and Carrson introduced him into the finer ways of lizard catching. Those two are experts, they even caught a horny toad while we were there. They told me they are easy to catch because they are so slow. I didn't even know Toads were in the desert were their was no water, but I guess I was wrong.

Red Hallow Canyon--Orderville, UT
On Saturday morning I talked my family into going on a hike, crazy huh, Timette wanting to go on a hike :) Anyways it ended up being almost EVERYONE's high at the end of the weekend.
These are the cousins that went on the hike.

Aidan trying to walk through the rocks to get to his bigger cousins, he actually fell down right after this picture was taken, but he got right back up.

Aidan and Bompa showing off their guns. As you can see we were worried about water in the canyon, but no need to worry IT WAS DRY, too dry if you ask me, a little water would have been nice.

Aidan was too busy playing with Bompa to be in our picture. Look at Nicole loving the Baby Holder. She did GREAT on the hike.

Jenni's family showing off how HIGH the walls of the canyon were. Everyone made fun of me because I said to pack a light jacket because the canyon would be SOOOO... cold. It really wasn't that cold and they wouldn't let me live it down.

We traveled through two up and over rock jams in little narrow canyons like this one. It was really fun, especially for the kids.

We got to a point in the canyon were to continue you had to climb up this rope. Madisyn was such a ROCK STAR, she made it up really without a problem at all. Really all the cousins did a great job. Mike, Tristan, Audrey, and I went up as well, but Max, Jenni, Nicole, Nana, Bompa, and Aidan stayed behind. I guess Aidan sang I'm a little Tea Pot as entertainment.

I was scared to take my backpack up, so my camera got left at the bottom. So we took pictures with our "mind" cameras. :) We continued to another climb and then to a third that did not have a rope, and Tristan tried to do it, but couldn't. It was really fun.
While we were upper canyon we heard Max yell, and a snap, yes the rope broke when Max tried to get up, but Mike fixed it so we would be able to make it down.
Check out my cute hubby!! Doesn't he ROCK! :)

Spring Thing Competition
This is THE Deanna Jolley, the best tumbling teacher in all of the Salt Lake Valley. Every year Jolley's puts on a little mock competition, and every year we don't place, but it's not about winning right :) Madisyn did GREAT this year, and the remarks from the judge were awesome. She did get a medal and she had fun doing her assigned gymnastics passes,
PASS #1 2 front walkovers, 2 one handed cartwheels, 2 back walkovers
PASS #2 round-off 4 back handsprings
PASS #3 front walkover, round off back handspring, handspring walk out
She liked the 3rd pass the best, and still does it all the time on the lawn in the front yard between Maria and my house.

Grizz Kids Preschool Graduation
I can't believe the school year is coming to an end. Aidan has been going to Copper Hills Preschool with his best friend Holden. They had a slide show of the kids, and then hula dancers perform. They sang multiple songs and nursery rhymes and each received a certificate from the High School Principal, who knows Madisyn's elementary school principal. Aidan's favorite song to sing was Tiny Tim (the song about the turtle and the bubble) and Little Tea Pot. Aidan's best BIG friend was Braxton who went out of his way to take our family picture, and say goodbye to my little man.

Happy Mother's Day 2010
Breakfast in Bed is my favorite family tradition. I love that my little ones get up in bed with me and hug me and snuggle as we eat our breakfast. I also love being a Mom, I love tucking my big 7 year old in bed, and singing and snuggling my little 4 year old to sleep, and my newest little 3 month old when she puts her hands up by her mouth and makes a cute cooing noise when she thinks a bottle is coming, or when Nicole sees her big sister and smiles so big that it lights up the room. I have an amazing family, and a wonderful friend for life in my husband.

Putting in the Garden with a Little Helper
We put our garden in with watermelon, corn, carrots, zuchinni, yellow squash, and pumpkins. Our strawberry patch from 2 years ago is still going strong!! I hope to get some big strawberries this year, and I am not going to let as many zuchinni plants, and watermelon plants grow. I now understand why they say to pull some out. Before I thought NO way then what will grow, but man we had WAY too many last year, our garden couldn't handle it. Aidan loves planting with his Dad.

Nicole's Blessing
Today we blessed our third baby. Mike did an amazing job, while Nicole screamed and screamed through the whole thing. When Mike took her from me she was wide eyed and looking around from his shoulder (her favorite holding position) and then once he got to the circle and she was laid down she SCREAMED!! I told Mike she must be ours since Aidan and Madisyn both did the same thing. Then as soon as the blessing is over and she was picked up for her SIMBA moment (holding up the baby for the world to see) she stop crying, and for the rest of the meeting she was great. My Dad, Mike, myself, and my cousin Kim all bore our testimonies about family, and the power of the priesthood and our love for the gospel, making the day even that more personal. Also two of my favorites in the ward, Maria and Melinda bore their testimonies as well. I really have an amazing ward family, and eternal family.
After the blessing we got together at my house for a brunch and a chance to socialize, since we all love to talk in my family. We had over 52 people show up for the blessing, it was unbelievable, and we had the following in the circle, Mike, Bompa, Grandpa, Max, Jeff, (Young) Tristan, Kurt, Coalton, Brett, Max, Kim, and (Older) Tristan. Yeah Mike thought the circle was a little big, but I loved all the family being part of such a sweet moment in Nicole's life. Thanks you guys.
