The Printing Press

This was one of the coolest most information based places we went. They talked all about how they created books back when the Book of Mormon was printed and how Joseph Smith wanted the book to be special not just a normal everyday book. We all found it interesting that they said the Erie Canal was just behind the building and that was why they were able to get the big printing press that was able to handle the Book of Mormon. We all walked outside and said Mormon Folklore, there is no Erie Canal out here, but sure enough we Googled it on our phones and yes the Errie Canal has been moved 3 times and at one time it ran right by the printing press.
