Finally We Made It To A Pumpkin Patch

Well it only took us until the actual day to go get Pumpkins. That's OK though we went to a pumpkin patch, we walked though a corn field maze, and the kids wheelbarrowed to their favorite pumpkins, and it was a beautiful day. By the time we got home it was late, and we needed to eat dinner, change into costumes, and do the pumpkins, so this year there was NO carving, we did stickers and markers, and the kids were still proud. I will make sure next year though we get to carve.

SNOW!!!!

We got our first snow fall today, and EVERYONE including the dog was excited to play in the fresh white powder.


Aidan tried to sled but the snow was just not good for sledding, so he just sat there or had me push him around.


The snow shovel was Aidan's favorite though. I think that's because Daddy uses that when he is in the snow, so it must be fun. :)


Snow before Halloween is CRAZY! Oh well, I hope it melts fast, but comes back for Christmas. :)

Halloween Performance

Aidan performed today at his preschool. They sang about 8 songs and then got to walk around and get candy from the office, library, principals, and counselors. The kids loved walking around in their costumes, and Aidan's Big Friend Braxton was his partner. He loved making Aidan flex his improved costume muscles. Too CUTE!!

Trick-or-Treating Disney Style!!

When we take these trips we leave sooo... early but we always have to have breakfast before we leave. Mike snapped this picture before we got going.

For Halloween Disney always has out the villans, but never Zurg, so here is Madiysn and Aidan with Zurg.

Madisyn usually doesn't want to take pictures with the characters because the lines are too long, but this time she was all about it. So I purchased a Autograph book for her, and an autograph book for Aidan. Madisyn talked to and got autographs from, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale, Queen of Hearts, Captain Hook, Pooh, Tigger, Tinkerbell, Silvermist, Jack O Skeleton, and Woody. I was quite impressed with her skills. Aidan on the other hand, got only a hand full, but Aidan is usually scared of the characters to just a few for him is a LARGE JOURNAL for little kids. :)







If you were wondering here are some other uses for the autograph books. They keep your 6 year old entertained with something to write on in line.

They also double as wings while in line to see Tinker Bell and her friends. This was Aidan's idea, what kind of 3 year old boy comes up with this.



At night they close down California Adventure to only the people who have purchased an event ticket, and you have fun Dancing and Getting Candy from characters through out the park.

31 Days Till Halloween

I bought a 31 days till Halloween kit and the kids have LOVED it. They love pulling their stick out and then bringing me the book with the activities to see what they get to do. Everyday we have done something different, from Mummy Pizzas to fun Halloween Stories, it has been a great thing especially with Madisyn out of school for three weeks in October.

Aidan's First Day at Preschool

"GO GRIZZLIES" Aidan had his first day of preschool today at Copper Hills High School. He looked so cute with his little Yankee Backpack. He acted sooo... grown up. He was concerned that he needed a water bottle, lunch and a snack, because that is what Madisyn always takes to school. SO cute!! I let him know that he won't eat at his preschool, because it was only as long as 3 Diego's. (That's how we tell time) When he came home he told me all about his Big Friend Braxton (he's a football player, and I loved how he called him his Big Friend). At the High School the teachers are students and the ratio is about 2 to 1, making his preschool experience so fun. They grow up sooo... fast.

Madisyn was off track so she got to see him off to her old Preschool. Lots of teachers stopped her to say hi, but she didn't remember many of them.

Yes we are expecting!!

I know I tried to keep it a secret but hey I am showing and I am HALF WAY!! Today Mike and I got to see the little Baby, and it looks so strong. Through out the Ultra Sound you could see the baby kicking and kicking me to make more room, it was really surreal. I know I've gone through this before, but it is amazing to see that little one so alive inside of you. We decided this time not to find out what we are having, Mike and I figured we had one of each, why not make it a surprise. The kids and Mike think it is a boy, but I not convinced, for me it will be a surprise, and I will be completely happy with either one. I have been craving breakfast foods, and especially MILK!! I just love Milk lately! Madisyn it was spicy food, Aidan it was MEAT, and this one Milk, so who knows what I am having.

Madiysn and Miley

This was Madisyn's first concert, and it seems like everything was great. She's going to think that all concerts you get to meet and take pictures with the star. :) We were very lucky that she got to be part of this.

Madisyn wore her Miley Cyrus shirt to school the next day and everyone asked how everything was. In her eyes everything was perfect. She even got to meet Miley's REAL brother, not Jackson her brother in her show on the Disney Channel, her Real one she kept telling me. Madisyn just makes me smile, she loves life and just anything new.

Thank you again Whitney for letting Madisyn be part of this!! She will never forget it!
