Up early and ready to try to get on the View. One of Erin's requests while in New York was to see the View. We couldn't get tickets so we had to rely on standby, which meant we had to get there early to be the first on standby. This was us ready to go to the other side of Central Park to the ABC studios.
On the way we took a quick picture in front of the LDS Temple. I always think this temple is cool, because the temple is actually inside the building that you see on the outside. It is really cool.
We had to wait at ABC studios for a while, but all went Great!
More pictures as we wait to find out if we make it in.
WE MADE IT!!! We got in and not only did we get in Erin was asked to introduce the main guest with Barbara Walters at her side. HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT FOR A BIRTHDAY PRESENT.
We were the last ones into the studio, and I had told the girls we will sit in the front row, but they didn't believe me and sure enough when we walked into the studio 4 open seats on row one. JUST FOR US. The guy who gets the audience ready called us the Hot Mormons. It was super fun.
Adriane's Hubby is an IT guy and he took these image captures from the show. Pretty cool.
Erin with Barbara Walters getting ready to do her line. I still can't believe that Erin was chosen to do the line, on her favorite show. It really was an amazing day.
Micheal Moore was the main guest, and it was extremely controversial.
You can't really tell but this is a picture of a model at Lincoln Center doing a photo shoot. It was Fashion Week in New York and we got to walk right through the middle of the set up area. This is right next to the New York Ballet Company and the Lincoln Center Theatre where War Horse was being shown.
Then we went to Serendipity to enjoy Frozen Hot Chocolate and wonderful sandwiches.
We asked the guys if we could go upstairs where they shoot the movie and take pictures. They were super nice and said sure. So we went upstairs and fooled around and laughed till we all cried.
We took tons and tons of pictures.
Again taking pictures at Serendipity 3.
We then headed over to Central Park where we bargained with the cabs to take us on a ride around the park.
This was all of ours FAVORITE thing in New York. Again the weather was perfect and the park was beautiful.
First stop was the famous fountain next to the boat house. Then we went to the friends fountain, the zoo, John Lennon's memorial where fans were still morning his death even today, and the castle.
A Chelsea Sandwich...
That night we went to Memphis. Sadly we had to RUN because we couldn't catch a cab. It was kindof cool though because we got to RUN through Grand Central Station, and I had never really been through Grand Central Station. I kinda felt like we were in a movie.
After the show we went to Time Square. It was super fun and the famous naked cowboy was there. We vowed that we would not show the pictures to anyone. So we all deleted the memories from our phones, I hope...
We then ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. Again a Wonderful Beautiful Long Day in New York. At 130am we finally were able to catch a cab home. It was a wonderful thing.
