WOW we NOW have a 4 Year Old

So after the party and the movie, finally the REAL DAY is here. Aidan is now four years old.

Breakfast in Bed (with a piece of Cake)

We all joined him, with our "Chocolate Coco Krispies"
(even Lacey Lu Lu)--doesn't Madisyn just look so happy :)

Then the presents from family. His big present being GOLF clubs so we can all go out as a family and golf.

Then we had dinner at a park, and went to Kristine's House for Cake. This time Lighting McQueen, and this was not just any cake this was an ICE CREAM cake. Aidan loved having an ice cream cake, and it was quite yummy. (my favorite)

Our little buddy is now our BIG buddy. --And all my birthdays are DONE for the year. YEAH! Next kid will have to be a summer birthday, because this March thing kills me every year.

How to Train Your Dragon!!

Ever since Thanksgiving when they started putting the adds out for this movie, we had told Aidan that it was going to be his Birthday movie. He was super excited to see the movie, and it did not disappoint. The movie was GREAT, and Aidan loved Toothless. After the movie we went to Aidan's favorite place the McDonald's with the Treehouse. (we have to name all of the McDonald's by their playplaces) Both Madisyn and Aidan went crazy when they saw that they had How to Train a Dragon toys there.

Aidan's Friend Party

On Wednesday Aidan had his friend party at Bouncin' Off the Walls, as well. We went on Wednesday morning because it is open bounce. Everyone LOVED the big slide, especially Aidan. This is Aidan and Noah upside down and Aidan and Holden getting off the slide.
We had some HUGE pile ups on the slide, and I had to rescue some little ones every now and then under everyone, but still REALLY fun.

Then we went to a park next to the Sandy Fish Hatchery, and opened presents. Aidan wanted a special chair so we brought the camping chair and tied some balloons on it.

After presents on to the cake, TRANSFORMERS!!! Aidan was so excited to have a cake with Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. The wind was blowing too hard to light the candles so we told Aidan to pretend, and he seemed to enjoy pretending he was blowing out the candles, he blew on all 4.

Then we hit the SHARK pinata. Aidan said he had to have a pinata.

Bouncin' Off the Walls

Madisyn wanted to have a Bouncin' Off the Walls Party again this year. So we invited her entire class and her friends in the neighborhood to celebrate Madisyn's big day.

This year Madisyn went with a High School Musical Cake.

Her favorite friend gift was the make-up and fake nails.

I Can't Believe You're SEVEN

Madisyn turned seven and so we had to have a little party before her big party. Breakfast in bed...

and Pet Hamsters, these were Madisyn's wish on Friday March 12 sending her Mom, Brother, New Sister, and Dad on a search for these cute pets. Even though it is after Christmas they are still hard to find at just a Walmart or Target, Mike had to get the big guns out and save the day by going to a Toys R Us.

Barbie New Born Baby Doctor, (Thanks Bompa and Nana)

Make-up/Purse/Nail Poilsh (Thanks Julie and DeEtt)

Dress/ High Heal Sandles (Thanks Grandma and Grandpa)

Madisyn loved everything she got for her birthday.

Who Doesn't Love Aunt Jenni

We all love Aunt Jenni, and her wonderful daughter Irelynn. They both came up to say hi to our little Nicole, and spend some time with Aidan and Madisyn. They watched the baby while Mike and I had a little time to see a movie and get some lunch for his birthday. My kids love you tons Jenni, thanks for coming up.

Jenni and Irelynn were nice enough to get Nicole this really cute outfit for church. Nicole looks so cute! Thanks again.

The Umblical Cord Finally Fell OFF!

Madisyn and Aidan have been asking and asking when the ugly thing on Nicole's stomach was going to go away. It has been an issue for them and for my Brother Tristan who thinks babies are just ugly naked. :) Anywho, the ugly thing finally fell off and Nicole was able to have her first bath. She loved every minute of it. I knew she would she seems to love anything and everything about water, I think Aidan and her have more in common then Aidan wants to think about right now. She was super relaxed in the bath, more so then either of my other kids, and loved having the water all around her.

Can I Feed Nicole?

My kids love feeding the baby. Whenever I pump they constantly are asking, can I feed Nicole. I didn't realize how great it is when your NOT breast feeding to allow your kids the opportunity to feed and bond with the baby. Thank you Mom and Dad for my GREAT Breast Pump, it not only is faster then breast feeding (Nicole is a horrible breast feeder, she loves to SLEEP too much) but it has allowed Aidan to finally bond with his little sister.

So Much Hair...

I have been wanting to post all three baby pictures to show everyone that our kids just HAVE HAIR, also that they all look so much alike, especially Madisyn, and Nicole. I think Nicole is just going to be a little Madisyn her whole life.

Aidan's First "RUN & SLIDE" Soccer Game

Aidan loved his new shoes this Saturday too much. He got light up Spider Man shoes and that was ALL he cared about at his Soccer Game. We would yell for him to get the ball, and there he was running as hard as he could and trying to look down and see his shoes light up. If the pack of kids ran past him or he kicked the ball good he was down on his knees and sliding, why we don't know, but Holden his best friend did the same thing. I had to apologize to Whitney for the influence of Aidan and his in ability to play soccer without a dramatic slide. He actually came to Mike and asked why his knees hurt so bad, and so Mike pulled up his socks to cover his knees. Besides shin guards we are going to have to buy knee pads.

Nicole is Almost Two Weeks

So we have survived for almost two weeks now. She is still not sleeping great, but what newborn does, and she tends to POOP all over the place, but we are making it work. Last week I had my Mom to help, and this week I have had to rely on neighbors to help, especially with Aidan. He still wants his Mom all the time, and doesn't understand that my time is now being divided with feedings, and crying fits. Nicole looks prettier and prettier everyday. I am also enjoying this newborn experience more then my other two, maybe because I know what I'm doing, or that, I know this time goes by so quick, and she will be big too soon.

Madisyn's Art Walk

Madisyn had her art walk on Thursday night. We walked around the elementary school and enjoyed looking at all the art work, especially our little Madisyn's.

The first art piece is of Ms. Cleverly teaching, and is made out of little pieces of paper, like the book The Hungry Caterpillar.

The second art piece is a display of all the different elements in art. Madisyn said she liked color the best.

Wow is all I can say

We drove down to Cedar City on Friday night, for my Mike's Grandma's funeral. It really was the best funeral ever. She has over 170 prosperity grand-kids and great grand kids, we filled almost the entire middle section of the chapel, and then friends filled the rest of the chapel and two overflows. It was unbelievable. All of her kids talked and then she had a friend from when she was dating her husband talk. He talked about how young she was and the things they enjoyed doing as a young couple before and after marriage. Talked about his wife that had pasted away, and how it's tough, but you take one day at a time. What a great way to share your young life with all of your kids, grand kids, and great grand-kids. Then Dave (Mike's Dad) sang a song called Her Hands, and it fit Grandma perfect, it talked about a mom's hands from taking care of a baby, to leading a child in the right direction, to having wrinkled hands that we can't take away the pain, hands that used to make bread and sew but can't any longer, and how those hands are now with God. Not a dry eye in the congregation. Then she had her stake president talk, and he said he really didn't know why he was talking, but in the middle of his prepared talk he stopped and said now I know why she asked me to speak, she wants me to share the testimony that she bore just two weeks ago in the ward. So through him she was able to share with all of us her testimony. It was unbelievable, I hope that I can live up to just part of what she was able to do in her life time. Our whole family loves and misses our Grandma, and Great Grandma.

Vistors, Pictures, Lots of Love

Madisyn's first thought about the new baby girl was that she gets to have a roommate. She has taken the role of Big Sister seriously, and her little sister loves her tons.

Aidan really hasn't warmed up to the new addition and just wanted his Mom when he came to visit. Even with him on my lap, when I got Nicole again he jumped off the bed to get away. We hope this changes.

Kristine brought the kids over, and came to show her love as well for the beautiful Nicole.

Steven and Tutu came as well to say hi.

It's a long drive from Las Vegas but Grandma and Grandpa Wankier made the drive, even though they had to leave the next day.

Thank you for coming up Grandpa.

Bompa couldn't help himself and had to buy his 13th grandchild a Valentine. We all love the cookie, and isn't it so cute with PINK. Thanks Dad.

Bompa also drove from Vegas to be here.

Nana wouldn't miss this for the world, look at that smile, I love it when she comes up to help. Thanks Mom, I couldn't ever do this without you.

I love the Daddy Daughter pictures. Something about a Dad and his little girl.

Mike got Nicole and I a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Valentines. Thanks honey you really are the best.
