Easter 2012

This year Aidan got an Angry Birds Game.

He was so excited to play it he couldn't wait to get it set up.

Madisyn and Nicole got church dresses that matched their dolls. Both super cute.

Madisyn decided to dress McKenna in the dress because she says that she's her favorite.

Nicole loved the CANDY.

She didn't know what was going on, but Candy was GOOD...

Aidan and his Dito, he wanted to feel special too. Each of the kids got ONE big stuffed animal. Madisyn a bunny, Nicole a Lady Bug and Aidan an alligator that he fell in love with at first sight.

I thought we looked great this year. Go US. Happy Easter. I forgot to mention we had 9 am church so we did really really good this year.

Date Night--Jazz Game

YEA!!! Mike's friend from KPMG took us out to a dinner at our favorite chinese at the Gateway and then to the Game verses the Maveriks. It was awesome. I was super proud of this picture though, I took it myself with my iPhone. Not too bad. I'll have to use it as my facebook picture. I really like the way we both look in it.

Field Trip to Thanksgiving Point

These were my kidos for the Tahnksgiving Point Garden Field Trip.

The kids seemed to really enjoy everything they learned.

Then we ate lunch just outside of the garden. It's always fun to get to eat lunch while at school when you are a Kindergardener.

The Four Of Us RUN RUN RUN

This was Madisyn's 4th 5K and Dakota's first. They both did amazing. I am always bummed that the divisions aren't a little smaller for their group. Their division was from 5-18 years old. WHAT my little 9 year old was competing with high schoolers. No way will they get to medal. Oh well. There was a raffle at the end and each girl got a medal from last year, so that was good, at least they got a medal.

Here we are Heidi, Dakota, Madisyn, and me. We ran in around 34 minutes. Not too bad for little 9 year olds. No stopping for either one. GREAT JOB GIRLS!

We went to McDonald's after for breakfast. We all felt like we deserved it. :) I think we have found our running buddy!

Aidan's REAL Birthday the Big S-I-X

Bompa and Nana spoiled Aidan by giving him a card with money, when they already gave him a huge lego set. He was super excited, and already had plans on what to buy...MORE LEGOS!!!

Before he left for school he had to start building his Ninjago's. I love this kid.

Before and After....

Every year this is what my front flower garden looks like until I get out there and clean it up. This year I had tons and tons of my pretty purple flowers.

Look how nice after a little hard work.

It only took me the entire morning, but it did look good. I get better and better at yard work every year. It amazes me that I can tell between a good plant and a weed. That is a huge step for me, I used to think they all looked the same...

Aidan's Party at Kristine's

So not only do we have a friend party but at Kristine's for Sunday dinner we do dessert and once again get to sing to Aidan. This time it was ice cream cake with Despicable Me. And again with the Aidan's Awesome.

Aidan's Bouncin Off the Walls

Aidan got a BIG birthday party this year at Bouncin Off the Walls. I LOVE THAT PLACE!! He invited his entire class and some neighbors. As you can see by his face he LOVED it.


Nicole is a DARE DEVIL and I love it. After we went upside down once, that was all she wanted to do.


My parents even got to be there, how awesome is that.


The party room was great and the kids loved the cupcakes!! Many asked for seconds. They were really good.


Pokemon cake and Aidan didn't want Happy Birthday Aidan he asked for....Aidan's Awesome! He just makes me laugh.


His favorite gift by far was the big Dino Lego Set. He didn't want to look at anything else until that was built. Since he's been watching YouTube he had watched all the tutorials on it and could tell Mike and I everything it came with in detail. He loves his Legos.

Even Mike likes playing in the jump houses. At one point the kids had to point him out, they said he found a cold air spot. At least we are still kids at heart.

Date Night

Every Wednesday we leave the kids with Juli and Mike and I go somewhere. These are some pictures Madisyn took with her iPod Touch while we were away.

Hoops at LifeTime

The kids love going through the hoops (bike holders) at LifeTime. Nicole can just walk through them, but the other ones have to duck. The crazy things kids find enjoyment in.

SNOW!!!

You'd think I would get used to it, but I am never going to get used to snow in the middle of March.

Cheese Cake Factory with the girls

Our neighborhood tries to go out every now and then and this time I was able to go. We went to Cheese Cake Factory and had a blast laughing and talking. It's just fun to get out with just girls sometimes.
