I can't believe my little curly head is two....she is too big. Nicole talks more then either one of my kids and knows more words then the two of them combined. She is a smarty pants. She is already potty trained, and loves to create new signs to communicate with us. My favorite sign is for bread and the sound she makes to let us know she wants spray butter, not only on the bread but in her mouth please.
We had a birthday party at Kristine's. No friends just family, but Nicole still had TONS of fun.
She didn't know what to do with the candle, it's all on video, but after the other two showed her she wanted to blow them out again and again.
Chocolate Icecream with Chocolate Cake, Daddy's favorite...
I had her dress up like Cinderella to open presents, and HOW CUTE!!! You only get a couple of years when they will do this. She even kept the crown on. Mike picked out her new baby, and said she had to have this one because it has curly hair just like Nicole.
She also got little girl legos that made birthday cakes, cupcakes, and brownies. It's a really cute set. Aidan gave her the My Little Pony Train set because they all have seen the commercial on TV. Sophie her little friend told me after seeing the toy that they have that toy on their TV at home. I just had to chuckle, kids and TV commercials.
Nana and Bompa gave Nicole a Singamagig (another one, because she LOVES her first one) and a pull out couch/bed with Mickey and Minnie just like Miles. She LOVED it, and knew just what to do with it.
In their card there was a Minnie ribbon, Nicole made sure that we all knew the Minnie ribbon was hers. She seemed to really like it alot, and wore it all day.
In the morning we reused the cake to celebrate on Nicole's real birthday, but she got to blow out the candles again, and that was super exciting for her, because now she knew what to do. Look at that smile.
We relit the candles about 4 times, until the other two had had enough and were starting to complain.
Tradition is we have cake for part of our breakfast in the morning. They all seem to like that.
Whitney got Nicole the cutest matching PJs for her and Hadley. Princess Ariel, Hadley picked them out. What a fun gift. I thought the girls looked so cute.
