US Open Pebble Beach

Out of all the places to watch a golf championship PEBBLE BEACH is number one on my list. Last year when Mike was watching the US Open he was complaining that he would love to go to a US Open. I asked him where the next one was, he said Pebble Beach and I said book our tickets now. Who wouldn't want to look over the ocean and enjoy this beautiful golf course.

You were not allowed to bring any camaras so these are pictures I pulled from Google images of our favorite holes.

This is Hole #8. The golfers would carry the ball to the huge canyon, where on the other side it doesn't even look like it's there because you are going up, and then hit over the canyon to roll to the green.

This is hole 6 and is so much more impressive in person. This was my favorite hole. You need to hit the ball just to the bottom of the huge hill and then up over the hill to the green. Many golfers hit to the green in 2.

This is hole #7 the most photographed hole on Pebble Beach. This hole was super crowded and so we didn't watch it that much, but it was beautiful.

This is hole 18, we watched this one more then any other hole, and we liked to watch in from the middle of the fairway where the two trees are standing to block you from going too far. This is also where we watched Mickelson duff it to the left and into the water on Day 1 of the US Open.
