Nicole Goes Disney

I love it when I can talk Nana and Bompa into meeting us at Disneyland. They just make our trip so much fun, and what a great memory for my little ones.

Here she is on It's a Small World, I think this was her favorite ride.--SO CUTE!

Here are the GIRLS on our way into It's a Small World. Aidan just loves this ride, and I think it's funny because in a couple of years he will think this ride is SOO... lame, and he will only want to ride all the BIG RIDES.

So I figured out that on my camera I can flip the screen and then see the picture of myself that I am going to take, anyways Nicole didn't know this was happening, but this was her face the whole time on It's a Small World, she couldn't take it all in.

My Dad snapped this shot of Nicole and I outside of Roger Rabbit. She is just too freaking cute. If only she was better on the plane ride, I could do this more often.

Aidan was tall enough to ride the chip and dale rescue rangers roller coster, but this face makes me think he is questioning the sign. He loved the ride, but was a little scared.

Here he is on the Go-Coster. It's cute that they are big enough to ride together.

The big new toy at Disney are these bubble guns. It was actually really cool, all of a sudden you are walking through Disneyland and Bubbles everywhere. The kids loved the guns and so did everyone walking by. When we got home my kids and all of the neighbor kids played with the bubble gun. Kids just love Bubbles.

At California Adventure they have the Brother Bear Area that is my kids favorite. Aidan was just a tad too short to do the rope swing, but I told him next time. So after Madisyn did it we walked around the nature trail and looked at the tracks, Aidan LOVES King Snakes and this track he's pointing to is a King Snake track, he was pretty excited.

Here is all three doing the small swinging bridge. Nicole loves to walk with the help of her big brother and sister.

OK so this pose I used a ton, but it is so cute, and here Nicole is actually smiling.

Bompa is determined that Nicole will like him.

One of our favorite rides at Disneyland is Buzz Lightyear, (our number one ride TOY STORY MANIA was closed Aidan was supper bummed)here is a picture of Nana and Madisyn ready to TAKE on ZERG!! Madisyn and Aidan love telling me the story on this ride, that we have to GET back all of the batteries that Zerg stole. I love Disney!!

The kids always have to find their score on the Status Board.

Here we are at Playhouse Disney, my kids have seen this show more times then I want to admit, but Madisyn and Aidan both pointed out that Nicole hadn't seen it yet, so of course they talked me into the show again, that has NO seat, and always makes my foot fall asleep.

Aidan and Maidisyn saw that Lighting McQueen had no line, so they both wanted to take a picture with the famous race car. --the kids are picky about characters now, if there's a line they tell me no, but if we can just go right up they are all about getting pictures, or autographs. My kids have become Disneyland Snobs. :)

Bompa got Adian's face painted while we were on Califonia Screamer. ARG Matey.

The new action figure for Toy Story 3 -- Madisyn the FLOWER POWER and Aidan the pirate.

AHHHH, it's a wild animal, Aidan loves sitting in the wild animal cage on the Casey Jr. Train. He is so cute.

Aidan looks a little scared, because he is about to ride "The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness" Thundermountain.

This is the reason we came to Disney, the Wonderful World of Color. It was beautiful.

This is us walking to the Wonderful World of Color. They left the park open latter so that annual pass holders could watch the show. We had to wait for the first show to end, and then we got to watch the show. We ate Edemome as we waited. Nicole really liked them. Who knew you could get edemome in Disney. Disney has everything. :)

Well I guess I don't fall too far from the tree, Mom and I dressed almost exactly the same.

Talk About HILLS!!!!!

I ran in the Red Rock Relay with 11 other ladies. We each had 3 legs we had to run and in the end we ran over 189 miles. We started at the top of Giant Steps (Brian Head) and finished at Zions running through Cedar City, and then through St. George. It was supper fun, but also SUPPER tough!!! Everyone had hills and we are talking STEEP hills they had to climb.

We were able to stay at my parent's cabin in duck creek and it worked out PERFECT, since the first van exchange was in Duck Creek, allowing both cabins to relax at the cabin again before their run.

This was at the end of my third run. Every leg you made a stripe on your arm or leg with a sharpie to show that you had already ran.

This is Teresa and me showing off our GUNS! :> The devil sign above mine represents the DIABLO Mountain I climbed only to hand off to my teammate who then went downhill.

Labor Day at Shad's Cabin

Our kids were so supper excited to see Keaton, McClane and Dax. As soon as we got there Madisyn went to playing with her cousins. We brought Make-up for the girls and a race track for Dax, that Aidan kept trying to take over.

Here are the girls as soon as we came inside the cabin.

I tried to catch some cute pictures of Nicole, she was in such a good mood.

Another try. Even though I might not be the best picture taker she still is a beautiful little girl.

Not bad make-up jobs. They are all getting too big, I liked it when the make up didn't look pretty and was all over their face.

We brought up bows and arrows for all of the kids and it was a HUGE hit. the kids loved shooting anything and everything with the arrows and actually got pretty good at it. Don't they look professional.

We did stamps and stickers, bracelets, puzzles, and the kids made their own fort.

Grandma set up a really cute treasure hunt for the kids. Here they are going to their next clue.

Keaton reading one of the clues.

My beautiful Madisyn, I just had to take a picture. Don't you love how the wind is blowing her hair. She is so pretty.

Aidan with his treasure. the boys got a shirt/short set and the girls got pillowcase dresses. Everyone was excited to try their new outfits on.

Dax and Aidan in their treasure outfits.

The girls in their pillowcase dresses. Too cute.

I love taking pictures of Nicole in her Bumbo I just think she is too cute.

Piling in the back of the truck to go FISHING!! Aidan's favorite thing.

Like Father like son. Too cute.

Aidan reeled in the first fish.

Madisyn caught the second fish all on her own!

And Mike caught the third fish, but as you can see the kids had lost interest, so even though we were catching fish we headed back.

The kids at the res before we left.

Sitting by the campfire.

Sitting with Grandpa by the campfire.

Grandpa with all the grand kids. Six and still counting.

The kids loved playing on the fence.

Madisyn shooting guns with Daddy.

Aidan shooting guns with Daddy.

The one picture of Mike and I. WOW I have squinty eyes.

Aidan and Dax chilling on the bean bag. They might have been fighting, since that's what boys do, but here they look some what civil.

Shad's brother works for the school district and they were getting rid of the lunch room tables and asked if anyone wanted one. YES this was great. Everyone had some where to sit and it folded up out of the way if we didn't want it. I need one for my basement.

Madisyn and Keaton

Aidan and McClayne

All of us getting ready to go.

Hey another picture of me, but this time with cute little Nicole.
